Dr. Mansoor Anwar

Director, Medical & Occupational Health Services, Du - Emirates Integrated Telecommunication Company

Dr. Anwar obtained his medical degree in 2001 from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. Thereafter he went back to his home country (United Arab Emirates) and worked in the government medical sector of the city of Dubai for 9 years during which he obtained 3 specialty degrees:

Board certified in Family Medicine-UAE (2007)
Membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners –UK (2008)
Masters with distinction in Occupational health- UK (2009)

In 2010 he was head-hunted by the Emirates Integrated Telecommunication Company (du) to establish an in-house staff clinic and a dedicated wellness department. As a result, the wellness department at “du” won a prestigious award by the government of Dubai in 2014 for the employee wellness program implemented in the company.

In 2012, Dr. Anwar was nominated to be the regional chair for the international association of worksite health promotion (IAWHP). Since then he helped to promote wellness in the Arabian Gulf region via active participation in related webinars, seminars & conferences.

Also, he is the chair of the wellness task force at Dubai Chambers. Dr. Anwar writes regular wellness related articles in various newspapers & magazines around the country.
