Global Wellness Manager, Latham & Watkins
Mark H. Goldberg is the Global Wellness Manager at Latham & Watkins, one of the “global elite” law firms with more than 2,000 lawyers located in the world’s major financial, business and regulatory centers. Mark oversees strategy and implementation across the U.S., Europe, the Middle East and Asia for LiveWell Latham, the firm’s global health and well-being program.
Having spent a decade and a half in the multinational legal sector, Mark began his career as a lawyer focusing on commercial litigation and antitrust. He later transitioned to a communications role, building and managing the firm’s internal communications function, including communications surrounding the development and launch of the firm’s health and wellness program, eventually assuming the helm of the program. Over the past eight years, Mark has received communications industry honors for wellness and benefits campaigns, employee relations, internal communications, multimedia campaigns and external publications.
Mark also served as US Director of Communications for global law firm Dentons, helping guide the firm through its successful three-way merger of US/UK firm SNR Denton, European firm Salans and Canadian firm FMC. He is an accomplished presenter and public speaker, having placed third in the semi-finals at the 2013 World Championship of Public Speaking.
Mark holds a BA in Asian Studies from Cornell University and a JD from NYU School of Law. He is also working on his first novel, a piece of historical fiction about genetics, disability, and reproduction.
